CacheLogic, provider of the world's leading Digital Asset Delivery Network, today announces the appointment of John Dillon as Chief Marketing Officer.
John Dillon joins CacheLogic from Surfcontrol, where he was also Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for the Internet security firm's global field marketing, corporate communications, product marketing and management. John is responsible for developing the CacheLogic brand, lead generation and market awareness across the globe, reporting directly to CEO Phill Robinson.

CacheLogic appointed Phill Robinson as Chief Executive Officer in July. Robinson joined CacheLogic from Salesforce.com and has 20 years executive level experience at some of the world's most successful technology companies, including salesforce.com, Siebel and Oracle.
Consumer expectations of the Internet have risen sharply with the proliferation of broadband and Web 2.0. Delivery of rich-media enabled services represent the next major evolution including video on demand, IPTV and online movies, games and software distribution.
However the Internet alone cannot cope with the distribution of large digital assets required to support these services with quality of service to the consumer.
